Creating An Account
You don't need a user account to browse our website but you'll be asked to create an account in two situations: before saving a Kit Designer project and before placing an order. Creating an account allows you to save information so that you don't have to re-enter it over and over again. It also provides a place for us to store your order history and the Kit Designer projects you want to save for future use. To create an account you will need to provide a user name, password, and email address. Other information will be necessary, for example, if you want to have your order shipped. Please read our Privacy Policy if you have any concerns about our use of your information.
Saved Account Information
Please remember to keep your user id and password in a safe place for future purchases. If you should forget your account password, you can have it e-mailed to you from the account log-in page. We will save your billing and shipping information. You only need to Sign-In to make it available in the Shopping Cart. Your credit card information will not be saved by us at any time. You will need to enter it each time you make a purchase.
Our Privacy Policy
Quilter's Way has access to and/or collects information that you voluntarily give us via the website, email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
We take precautions to protect your information both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. In addition, when you enter your credit card information for a purchase on our website, the information is only kept long enough to transmit it to our secure credit card processor, Authorize.net. You will have to enter your credit card information every time you make a purchase with us.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
