We've been getting great, positive feedback about our move to Acton Woods Plaza, so we thought we'd wet your palette a bit more.
Below is a photo of Acton Woods Plaza, noting our new location.
Our classroom space will be larger AND expandable. This means more opportunities for our community, including inviting guest teachers from out-of-town to come for lectures, trunk shows, and classes. Stay tuned, because we'll be announcing our first guest teachers soon. They are quilters you won't want to miss!
We'll also be introducing a longarm rental program, complete with a certification process where you can learn to quilt your own quilts on a longarm! The store will feature a Gammill 30" longarm, as well as the Statler Stitcher (see an example below)--the computer-operated quilter. Further details about certification classes and rental will be posted shortly on the website. Having the Gammill (she's going to need a name! Interchanging Gammill, longarm, and Gammill Longarm is getting boring!) will open so many possibilities for the quilters in our community. You may have thought you'd never get the opportunity to quilt your own quilts on a longarm, since you'd never have the funds or the space for your own. We can't wait to see all of the beautiful quilts that are finished in our new space!
We're also looking forward to the new friends we'll make at the shops in the plaza. So many possibilities all the way around!
So exciting, so much fun to come. I will be signing up for the IGL class for sure. You are the best, thanks for continuing to grow and improve for good of your quilting family.
How about Greta for the Gammill? Looking forward to all the exciting changes!!!
i went thru west concord last week and thought i saw a 'moving sale' sign... rechecked it today and was wondering where you were moving. So much easier for me to get to the other side of acton!!!
My husband will be looking forward to the certification class on the longarm. He can't wait to get started applying all he has read about. As for me, I need a sit down machine as I cannot stand for much time.
